Rating: 5 out of 5 Entertaining by bigm56 on 3/10/23 Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles.I talked this show up to my partner and we both left feeling a bit underwhelmed. There was a technical difficulty at one point in the show where the performance needed to be stopped, but I don't think it was related to the sound. We had to strain ourselves to hear the music properly and we were not that far back. My partner and I also found the sound quality was terrible. The songs are powerhouse songs and the singing fell short most of the time. This was my third time seeing the show and I felt the singing and sound quality was extremely below average for a musical of this caliber.

I was honestly a bit disappointed in this version of The Lion King.

Rating: 3 out of 5 A bit disappointed by Lee on 3/10/23 Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles.It was wonderful to see so many kids there too! It is spectacular! The costumes are beautiful! The choreography is superb! Worth every penny and a favorite. This is my second time seeing The Lion King.
